This outstanding facility was opened in March 2005. The complex includes both Music and Drama Suites annexed to the rear of the Auditorium. This modern performing arts centre provides the talented dramatists and musicians in the School with a facility which does their talents justice. Further, it provides the wider School community with access to a much needed facility.
This complex also includes a Student Services Centre with office accommodation for the School’s senior administrators together with a “state of the art” Jean LeGros Health Centre.
The cost of the project was $5.5 million. Some Ministry of Education funding was usedfor the project, but this was totally inadequate in terms of the overall cost of the project.
The design of the Auditorium (which includes an upstairs mezzanine), is quite different from a normal school hall and has character as well as the practicality to be a first class facility.
The Board of Trustees is seeking support from the wider School Community and invites you to consider making a contribution to this project to ensure the School can maintain the high quality of education it delivers. To demonstrate your commitment, a range of sponsorship options are available. An acknowledgement of your support will be displayed in the Jubilee Auditorium.
