Congratulations to Irfan Safin who has been selected by Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan (Green Party) to be his Youth MP at the Youth Parliament 2025.

Youth Parliament offers a unique youth development opportunity to young people from across New Zealand to experience the political process and learn about how government works, with an opportunity to develop leadership skills, influence government decision-making, and have their voices heard.

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for youth in New Zealand. Youth MPs will go out and talk to young people in their schools and communities and bring their perspectives directly to Parliament.
